Hello all you rock stars out there!! My name is Cheyenne, I'm 16 years old and a rising junior (class of 2012)!!! A little about me is my favorite color is red, I'm a fun person to be around and love laughing and making people laugh. The main reason I'm at journalism camp is to see if this is really a career that I want to pursue and if UGA is the school that I want to attend.
So far the answers are yes and yes!!!
I didn't realize how much I would actually like feature writing. I love writing in general but I didn't realize how much fun it actually is to go out and interview people. I also didn't realize how open people are to interviews.
In my spare time I love to read historical fiction, specifically about the Tudors. I also enjoy science fiction and playing video games (I'm a little bit of a nerd). My mom was in the Navy (the best military branch) so therefore I am a Navy brat (the best kind of military brat)! I've lived all up and down the East Coast but I haven't been outside of the country..yet!
Another thing about me is I'm a total news junkie! I watch CNN and NBC like there's no tomorrow. I enjoy entertainment news such as Entertainment Tonight and Extra. Well that's about it for me!
